Carbon Fiber Analysis
This project was a great introduction to making carbon fiber and testing it using a 3 point bending test. The purpose of this test was to see the strength of carbon fiber in its different orientations. There was up to a 450 MPa difference between the fibers running perpendicular to the anvil and every other orientation. See the report for details.
