I have used Solidworks for everything from school, to work. I have worked with the following features; weldments, sheet metal, 3rd party BOM systems, detailed properties, surface features to split parts, assemblies (large ones), detailed drawings at every printing size. Below are some examples of my work. Each drawing is a project related to an issue or design challenge that I have helped solve. Note for Solid works I only have pdf drawings since I do not have a license anymore.
Once my license expired for Solidworks I found a great CAD software from Siemens, Solid Edge. It is similar to Solidworks and has a quick and easy way to find any feature I need. For now I will keep learning this CAD program. Below are some more examples from Solidworks and Solid Edge;
